Bitterballen are a Dutch meat-based snack, made by making a ragout with beef, roux and beef stock and generously loaded with meat, they are double dipped in breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
They are delivered frozen for home deep frying, and are sold in multiples of 8 bitterballen and have a Nett weight of 200g.
Please Note: Bitterballen are recommended to be fried in a deep fryer or deep pan with oil (so that they are fully submerged). However I have receive feedback from clients that frying with an Air Fryer is possible by pouring a full teaspoon of oil over them before frying.
The bitterballen can be bought directly from my store and can only be delivered within a 50km radius from Hout Bay or Cape Town and is delivered on Fridays or can be collected from my kitchen upon request.
